BIO.
Nicole Santiago is an Artist and Filmmaker born and raised in Miami, FL. With education and experience in visual arts, writing, and interior and graphic design, Nicole decided to pursue filmmaking to creatively explore each of these passions within one medium, graduating with a B.A.S. in Film, T.V., and Digital Production. They have over 5 years of experience as a filmmaker, and 15 years as a dedicated visual artist. Recently, they pitched a music video to Miami-based band, Las Nubes, and went on to write, direct, and DP the video which was selected by multiple festivals, and was a semi-finalist for the Miami Short Film Festival. Nicole continued on to write and direct their thesis film, "i dreamt of this, Esther," a psychological exploration of the complex interplay between eating disorders and the mother-daughter relationship, a Miami Film Festival 2024 selection. They are in post-production for a short they produced, “Where it Will Live,” and released a music video for another local artist, Gen.wav, that they co-produced and co-directed. Nicole is focused on their continued growth as a Director of Photography, and building their production company alongside local filmmaker Kevin Miguelez. CONTACT. |
